Google truncates by pixel width, not a fixed character count, and the exact cutoff can vary slightly by device, font rendering, and any changes Google makes to its results layout. This preview uses the same measurement approach to get as close as possible, but treat it as a close, practical guide rather than a guarantee.
Why this matters more than the character count alone
A title or description that fits comfortably at 58 characters can still get cut off if it happens to use wide letters — and one at 65 characters might display in full if it's mostly narrow ones. Checking the actual rendered preview, not just a character counter, is the only way to know for certain whether your title and description will show completely or get truncated with "…" in the middle of a word.
